Wheelchair Boot Hoists
We specialise in supplying boot hoists to lift both manual (30kg) folding wheelchairs up to the heaviest wheelchair or scooter(up to 200kg). Most hatchbacks, estate cars,  MPV’s and some 4 wheel drive vehicles can be fitted with boot hoists. We can supply removable two way hoists (up and down only with manual swing in) or a four way hoist, powered up and down and in and out.  Four way hoists are generally not removable.  We chose from a variety of manufacturers to best suit your requirements i.e. Autochair, Techmobility & Brig Ayd.

2 Way 40KG - £145 on Motability Scheme

This 40Kg boot hoist can be used to lift manual and some small mobility scooters into the back of a wide range of vehicles.

The boom of the hoist has a unique folding action so as to fold neatly out of the way when not in use. A system of interlocks ensures that it is locked in the up position before it can be operated.

Particular attention has been paid to the design so a weak or elderly person can operate the hoist without difficulty 





75KG - £305 On Motability Scheme

The 75kg hoist can be used to lift motorised and manual wheelchairs up to 75kgs into the back of most cars, including hatchbacks, estates and some saloons. The boom can be lifted out when not in use, and stored in the boot. This hoist provides a cost efficient solution for those able to swing the wheelchair or scooter in and out manually.

100KG - From £551 on Motability Scheme

This hoist can be used to lift power chairs and scooters up to a weight of 100Kg in and out of the boot area of Estate cars, MPV type vehicles, 4x4s and some hatchbacks.

A power in/out option is available to aid full control when manoeuvring heavy wheelchairs in and out of the storage area. Radio control is also available as an extra on all hoists with the power in/out option. The hoist assembly can be easily removed and refitted to the back of the vehicle when extra space is required.


150KG - £1079 on Motability Scheme
This hoist can be used to lift power chairs and scooters up to a weight of 150Kg in and out of the boot area of Estate cars, MPV type vehicles,4x4s and some hatchbacks.

This hoist is supplied with a power in/out motor to aid control when manoeuvring wheelchairs and scooters in and out of the storage area. Radio control is also available as an extra option. The hoist assembly can be easily removed and refitted to the back of the vehicle when extra space is required.

120KG Telescopic - £1533 on Motability Scheme

The Telescopic 120kg hoist has an automated sequencing that can be stopped or reversed at any time. There is no requirement to guide the wheelchair or scooter while loading or unloading. This allows the user to steady themselves during the whole load or unload cycle. This hoist can be fitted to most estate cars, MPV type vehicles and some hatchbacks.

 

Autochair

Autochair provide three electric powered hoists designed for easy loading of wheelchairs or scooters into boots of vehicles. Their designs offer a choice of models to suit your requirements. The 30kg hoist will fit most cars, whereas the 100kg and 150kg models will suit most estates, people carriers and some 4x4's.

Autoadapt Joey Lift

From £1978 on Motability Scheme

The Joey platform lift demands very little effort from the user - just drive on to the platform, secure the wheelchair or scooter, press the hand control button and the job is done.

This is the ideal wheelchair stower for people with reduced muscle abilities. You will feel so comfortable using the Joey that it becomes an easy thing to bring the wheelchair along.

The wheelchair is secured while placed on the platform outside the vehicle. This is a big advantage as it is much easier to reach there. You can forget about crawling inside the compartment searching for restraint belts.

The Joey has a capacity of loading wheelchairs or scooters weighing up to 158 kg. The lift has its own power source of a 12 V rechargeable battery. It draws less than 10 amps under maximum load. The Joey platform wheelchair lift is crash tested and CE Marked

The lift has a manual back-up system. When the lift platform is lowered and ready to charge, a green led will shine to indicate this. An obstruction sensor makes sure no foreign object interferes with the lifts movement inside the vehicle.

Carolift 40 - £215 on Motability Scheme

The flexible arm and flexible mounting base makes Carolift 40 an excellent choice for sedans or estate cars with a sloping and low rear door.

The hoist is designed for lifting a load of maximum 88 lbs (40 kg), which comprises practically all manual wheelchairs in the market. Once the mobility device is stowed inside the vehicle the entire hoist can be folded to the floor to keep a clear back view. The hoist is detachable and easy to remove from its mounting base by just lifting it up and away, leaving only the mounting base and hoist holder in the compartment.

Carolift 90 - £1025 on Motability Scheme

Carolift 90 is a hoist for storing manual wheelchairs or powered wheelchairs and scooters of up to 90 kg in station wagons, minivans or full-size vans.

The hoist has powered functions for lifting up, swinging inside/ outside and placing down the wheelchair. All you have to do is press the hand control buttons and guide the wheelchair to the right position.

Carolift 140 - £1130 on Motability Scheme

Carolift 140 is a hoist for storing powered wheelchairs or scooters of up to 140 kg in station wagons, minivans or full-size vans.

The hoist has powered functions for lifting up, swinging inside/outside and placing down the wheelchair. All you have to do is to press the hand control buttons and guide the wheelchair to the right position. When not in use the Carolift 140 can be lowered towards the floor.

 

Bekker Rear Entry Lift

Makes loading and securing an electric wheelchair or scooter in the rear of a vehicle easy work.

This is the ideal wheelchair stower for people with reduced muscle abilities. You will feel so comfortable using the Joey that it becomes an easy thing to bring the wheelchair along.

The vertical and horizontal speed is programmable to meet the user’s needs. The wheelchair is secured while placed on the platform outside the vehicle. This is a big advantage as it is much easier to reach there. You can forget about crawling inside the compartment searching for restraint belts.

 

 


 


Elap Controls

Elap V40 Boot Hoist

The Elap V40 Hoist is suitable for loading and un-loading of scooters/wheelchairs under 40KG into the boot of saloon, hatchback and estate cars including MPV's. Its univeral fitting left or right handed design simplfies the fitting of the unit. Loading and un-loading is simple and totally safe since the boom is locked automatically when positioned vertically.

Elap V115 Boot Hoist

The V115 wheelchair/scooter hoist was designed for electric (platform) wheelchair/scooter users. The V115 has a hoisting capacity of 115 kg and can be supplied with various hoisting accessories. If there is enough space in the car the complete wheelchair can usually be lifted and placed into the car.

The V115 folds down by means of a simple manual operation. As a result, the hoist takes up little space. As an extra the hoist can be fitted with an electric rotating unit, so that turning the wheelchair into the car can take place without any effort.

Elap V150 Boot Hoist

The V150 wheelchair hoist offers the possibility of lifting an electric wheelchair/scooter, including the seat, into a car independently.

Optionally, the V150 wheelchair hoist can be supplied with an electric rotating unit so that turning the wheelchair/scooter into the car can take place without any effort.

 

 

 

 

 

Elap V120 Platform Hoist

The ELAP V-120 hoist has been produced to provide a cost effective solution to the loading and unloading of power chairs and larger scooters into the boot of MPV’s. Its universal fitting allows for easy transfer into different vehicles. Loading and unloading is simple and effortless and totally safe using the wired or wireless handset.

In the Majority of MPV’s the V120 mounts to the existing floor latches when the rear
seats are removed with no holes to drill. When mounted the V120 still leaves room for 5 passengers in most MPV’s like the Chrysler Voyager.

Elap V200 Boot Hoist
The V200 wheelchair/scooter hoist is the most powerful hoist that is currently available on the European market. This beautifully styled hoist was designed to easily lift up the heaviest category of wheelchairs/scooters into a car with the aid of the supplied hoisting bracket.

Its maximum hoisting capacity of 200 kg makes it possible to even lift up the heaviest wheelchairs/scooters, including accessories. This is subject to the hoist being mounted in a car with sufficient space for the wheelchair/scooter.

At the centre of gravity a hoisting point has been fitted to the wheelchair/scooter. As a result the wheelchair/scooter remains stable during lifting and turning.

The Elap V200 hoist can be turned into or outside of a car in a comfortable manner, either manually or by means of an electric rotating unit.
