Full Platform
This internally mounted hydraulic unit has been a proven winner over the years. It caters for 3 wheel scooters and all types of manual and electric wheelchairs. The platform is bi-folding which allows the unit to remain very compact giving ease of handling and good vision through the rear window of the vehicle. This unit also features a world first safety barrier. The unique barrier prevents a wheelchair leaving the vehicle when the hoist platform has been lowered below the vehicle floor level.
Emergency Exit - In case of emergency, quick easy exit is possible simply by manually pushing the wheelchair platform outwards.
U-Shaped Platform
This unit has all of the characteristics of the full platform unit with the exception of the platform area. The centre of the platform has been removed to leave a clear space of 265mm in width. This allows access through the closed hoist for hand luggage and parcels.
Another of the benefits is being able to push the wheelchair into the rear of the vehicle by walking directly through the platform behind it and not having to push from the side. This is also a benefit when securing the wheelchair inside the vehicle.
